Gift Certificate is expiring email alert

Hi,

I have a custom Saved Search for Gift Certificate which I want to schedule an email to send to customers just before their Gift Certificate is expiring.
Can someone tell me which field is the Gift Certificate Code and how to get to it in Email template fields.
I can't seem to find it in the Email Template fields.
