Search for assembly items and display all components on a single row ?

Hi,

is it possible to do a search for assembly items and extract all the components of the assembly on a single row. similar to what would be an aggregrate query in SQL ?

I cant seem to find any information on aggregating all the components into a single cell for easier manipulation.

Alternatively, if there is a way to extract and keep the items all together so we can use it for a re-import to do updates on records and their components that would be great.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated as I cant find any info on this anywhere
