Saved Search Email Notifications Not Sending

Hi all

We have a saved search which is set to email our MD with an alert when purchase orders are created that match the criteria of the search.

We have discovered that if a purchase order is created after a sales order approval process has taken place, the purchase order will appear in the search but it will not generate the alert.

Is anyone aware of this issue or have any suggestions on a possible fix?
