OR / AND operators in saved searches? How to check to see when, for example, {internalid} is betwee

I'm trying to see if there is a way to use OR operators in custom formulas for saved searches?  For instance Netsuite lets me define a formula to be a range between two numbers, but I can't see any way to OR in other ranges?  Thanks for any guidance
