Outlook Integration Customization

Does anyone know if, as an administrator, you can configure Outlook Integration and Intellisync to only synchronize email, calendar and tasks (and not contacts)?  In other words, administratively prevent the importing and exporting of contact or address book information through either of those tools?  There seems to be little discussion of this in the documentation or these forums.
