Upon Install, NS for Outlook Freezes Outlook

We have been unsuccessful in deploying NS for Outlook 2.0 to any machine on our Exchange Server/Outlook 2007.  Installation goes fine without any errors, and we are able to configure the synchronization settings; however, during the first synchronization, the process never finishes and seemingly goes into an endless cycle of trying to synchronize Outlook, but ultimately, Outlook "times out" and you have to unistall the NS for Outlook 2.0 utility before getting back normal Outlook functionality. 

Extremely frustrating.
