How secure intellisync synchronisation settings?
I am trying to find a way to set up intellisync so it syncronises with users only in the manner it is set-up (so that users can't change their settings and download our customer database for their region).
1. Intellisync has the ability to set a password on the configuration - which is good,
2. BUT users can uninstall the intellisync client then reinstall it with new settings. I could turn off their access to outlook integration (so they can't download and install a new client) but if i do that then they can't sync at all.
I can't see a way of having a user be able to sync but not be able to download the client. If a user can do both then as far as i can see it is impossible to properly secure the intellisync configuration.
