Unable to load NS for Outlook 3.0 in Outlook 2010

I have Outlook 2010, 32-bit. I have installed NS for Outlook 3.0, but when I start Outlook, the NS add-in is not loaded.  I then go to the COM Add-ins in Outlook and make it active, but when I do that Outlook shuts down and gives the error "MS Outlook stopped working".  Any suggestions on getting this to work?  By the way, NS for Outlook 2.0 worked fine on the same PC.
