Outlook calendar and activity types

We are looking at metrics based on specific activity types:
Onsite Negotiation
Onsite Demo
Phone Call Negotiation
WebEx Demo
Etc.

All of these can and are logged in Outlook as a calendar event.  When the events come into NetSuite, all of these are logged but activity type is blank.

If we were to customize Outlook with a field that matched the activity type in NetSuite, would there be a way to push that info via the Outlook integration?
