"Invalid argument" error extracting data from transaction_lines

I wanted to create a report of sales order with customer and vendor names.  The way our system was built would not show them all on the front end reports/saved searches, as the vendor is on the item line of the sales order form or mostly binded to the PO, not SO.  Even the Vendor : Legal name would not display all vendor name.  What I have been doing so far is using Access to pull the data from transaction_lines chunk by chunk or by ship_date using Access.  But the db gets large too quickly and kept giving me the
