Promotion Code Ending Early

This is the second promotion I have run that the coupon code box mysteriously disappears mid-day on the day it is supposed to end.  I thought the codes were set up to end at midnight?  It works in house but online the code box vanishes between 12pm and 3pm.  Any ideas?
