is not Bounced - Other nightmare

ok got a search set up that i used for a campaign last month. If i select the Campaign response field of response to "is bounced - Other" it returns 500 results which is correct. But this is not what i want, i want to omit these from the total search results of 2100.

however when i change is to "is not" it simply seems to knock off around 20 recipients and still leaves in some that have the response of "bounced - other" instead of removing the 500 that appears in the first search.

any pointersr on this, it seems to defy logic :mad:
