Direct Mail Hard Opt Out Subscriptions

Hi,

I was wondering how subscriptions work with direct mail campaigns. The documentation only describes subscriptions for email campaigns. We send a large amount of direct mail among other campaigns. My main question is how do customers without computers ( or internet know how) hard opt out for a direct mail campaign? If a customer calls in to customer service to unsubscribe from a direct mail campaign all the rep can do is soft opt them out. Is there a way to hard opt out on behalf of the customers?
