Improving Performance for FireFox Browser
Firefox browsing can be slowed down in NetSuite due to the default FireFox setting to not cache secure pages.
To enable caching in FireFox for secure pages (ie- https://system.netsuite.com), perform the following:
1. Open a FireFox browser window
2. Type "about:config" (without the quotes) into the address bar and click Go
3. Scroll down to the preference "browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl"
4. Right click on the preference line and select toggle, which will set the Value to "true"
RESULT: FireFox will now cache secure pages including all https://system.netsuite.com pages in your NetSuite account. By caching these pages, FireFox will now load pages quicker and perform faster when working in your NetSuite account.
