Payroll Advisory : California Accelerated Withholding Effective November 1, 2009
California withholding has increased by 10% for all withholding rates for all pay dates from November 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009. The new rates continue into 2010. NetSuite has been updated to comply with the state requirements.
ACTION:
There is no action required on your NetSuite account or by your employees.
However, if an employee feels the new withholding tables will result over withholding, they have the option of providing their employer with an updated California Form DE 4 increasing the number of allowances.
