Payroll Advisory:New Jersey Family Leave Insurance rate increased from .09% to .12%
On January 1, 2010, the New Jersey Family Leave Insurance Tax rate increased from .09% to .12%. Netsuite has already been updated to comply with the state requirements.
As a result of the increase on this employee-paid tax, all payrolls for the 1st Quarter which were processed before the implementation date have been under withheld for this tax.
Action required is to adjust the New Jersey Family Leave Insurance Tax for the .03% difference in rate.
To search for employees that need to be adjusted
1.Go to Reports > Payroll > Payroll Summary > select date range from January 1 to March 31, 2010
2.View Detail Report by clicking the amount next to New Jersey Leave Insurance >
