NetSuite has implemented a new payroll item to support Wisconsin Earned Income Credit
ACTION Required:
NS Payroll customers running on 2009.1 or 2009.2
Customers maintaining employees in Wisconsin (WI) will be redirected by the system to revisit the Wisconsin tax settings for employees the first time they run payroll after the implementation date of 9/24/09.
Customers who do not currently maintain employees in WI but would set up one in the future will go through the normal payroll set-up process.
NS Payroll customers running on 2009.1
If your account is running NetSuite version 2009.1, you need to change the settings again once you have been upgraded to v2009.2. Editing the record may be done on the employee level or from the payroll item.
