Attention Premier Payroll Users: Payroll Processing Days for Dec 2010 Holidays
Perquest will not be moving money on the 24th so if your normal check date is December 28th, you will need to process your payroll on December 23rd. The banks however, will be open and therefore any payrolls processed with a check date of 24th will still settle.
If your payroll consists of direct deposits and/or service printed checks, the last day to commit the batch is December 29, 2010 by 3:00 P.M. PST.
If you’re processing with a payroll batch containing only employer printed checks but incurs a federal tax liability of $100,000 or more, the last day to commit the payroll is December 30, 2010 by 3:00 P.M. PST. Please note that you will be required to wire the funds to Perquest cover the tax liability on December 30, 2010.
