Heartbleed update
The global security vulnerability known as the Heartbleed bug in OpenSSL was publicly disclosed on Monday, April 7. While password security awareness is high, we are taking this opportunity to urge you, as a NetSuite account administrator, to implement good password practices.
NetSuite recommends these industry standard practices for password security:
• Require users to change all passwords for all systems, including NetSuite
• Set a password rotation policy for your NetSuite account
• Set strong password requirements for your NetSuite account
• Use IP address restrictions where possible
• Use NetSuite two-factor authentication tokens
• Adopt password management software for your users
