Product Management confirmed that there will be no action required. [FONT=Calibri]Dear Merchant,[/FONT] [FONT=Calibri]Starting October 2016, payments ecosystem must be ready to support the 2 Series MasterCard BINs. MasterCard transactions on primary account numbers (PANs) in the 222100-272099 BIN range must be accepted, routed, and processed in the same manner as the PANs within the existing 5 series range. MasterCard rules that apply to the existing 5 series BINs will be applicable to the 2 series BINs. |
