Deprecation of Form 1099-MISC and Form 1096 Reports
Deprecation of Form 1099-MISC and Form 1096 Reports |
The deprecation of these forms will occur in two stages. This gradual process is intended to give you as much time as possible to find another provider, and to enable you to use both reports as is to report payments made to independent contractors in 2017.
[LIST] [*]Effective immediately, these reports will no longer be maintained, updated, or enhanced. However, you will still be able to run these reports in the NetSuite application by going to Reports > Sales Tax US. [*]After your account is upgraded to 2018.2, these reports will no longer be listed at Reports > Sales Tax US, so you will not be able to run them in NetSuite for the 2018 tax year. This upgrade is scheduled to occur in the second half of 2018.
