Change in Behavior of Detecting Purchase Cards

Change in Behavior of Detecting Purchase Cards
This notification is for customers that are using the Advanced Purchase Card Data Integration feature. Beginning December 9, 2017, NetSuite will no longer automatically detect whether a card to be processed is a purchase or corporate business card type.

What is Changing?

On December 9, 2017, NetSuite will no longer detect the card type to automate the sending of line-level (level 3) data. Starting December 9, if you want a charge request to include line-level data, you must enable sending line-level data manually. For instructions, see Recommended Actions.

Note: The presence or absence of line-level data in the message to charge the card may affect the processing fees that are assessed by your providers. Contact your providers if you have questions about your payment processing and associated fees.
