Change to Exchange Rate Calculation for Bank Transfers

Change to Exchange Rate Calculation for Bank Transfers

This message is intended for customers that have the Multiple Currencies feature enabled and are using Bank Transfers. The Transfer page is available at Transactions > Bank > Transfer Funds.

Currently, when transferring funds between a base currency bank account to a foreign currency bank account, NetSuite uses the exchange rate to calculate the To Amount. After using the exchange rate to calculate the To Amount, NetSuite rounds the From Amount to ensure a balanced calculation.

For example, if the entered From Amount is 33.32, the exchange rate is 1.25, and the calculated To Amount is 26.66, NetSuite rounds the From Amount from 33.32 to 33.33.

Regards,
