This notice is intended for customers with SuiteTalk (web services) integrations and RESTlets. The upcoming two-factor authentication (2FA) requirement for highly privileged roles will affect your SuiteTalk (web services) integrations and RESTlets.

[h=3]What is Changing[/h] As documented in the 2018.2 Release Notes and help topics, 2FA is mandatory for highly privileged roles, both for access to the NetSuite UI and for integrations that use highly privileged roles for API access to NetSuite.

Important: Integrations in your account have been granted a temporary exemption to the mandatory 2FA requirement in 2018.2. However, the mandatory 2FA requirement is still in effect for UI access to NetSuite in 2018.2. In your account, the 2FA requirement for integrations will not be enforced until 2019.1.
