Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

MS SQL Server 2016 Support in NSPOS 2018.2.0
| MS SQL Server 2016 Support in NSPOS 2018.2.0 |
| This notice is intended for customers using NetSuite Point of Sale (NSPOS). We want to remind you about changes to Microsoft (MS) SQL Server options for NSPOS. [h=1]What is Changing?[/h] We now support MS SQL Server 2016 for customers running NSPOS 2018.2.0 or greater. Microsoft will deprecate support for MS SQL Server 2008 R2 on July 9, 2019. The deprecation means that regular security updates from Microsoft will end for MS SQL Server 2008 R2. Microsoft might offer extended security-update plans for these versions. You can contact Microsoft for more information. Because the hardware and software requirements for MS SQL Server 2016 are different from the requirements for MS SQL Server 2008 R2, you should note the following details. This information can assist you in planning to be ready for the July 2019 deprecation. |
