This notification is for customers with the Multiple Currencies feature is enabled in your account.

NetSuite 2019.1 will include a change to the way header-level discounts are calculated on a sales transaction when the exchange rate is changed in the user interface (UI).

       
What is Changing?Recommended Action
Currently, the system does not update the header-level discount amount on sales transactions when the exchange rate is changed in the UI. As of 2019.1, a change in the exchange rate in the UI will cause a change to the discount amount. This change will be limited to a discount item that have a non-percentage discount. Also, this change will be specific to the UI and will not impact workflows that change the exchange rate using client-side triggers. Discounts already are updated when the exchange rate is changed in SuiteScript. No change in behavior will occur for exchange rate changes
