Incoming Leads and Dups

edited Nov 22, 2019 4:34PM in CRM 1 comment

Ok, I've asked this question before, but I'd like to ask it again.

We typically receive anywhere from 800-1600 leads/month. Many of the leads, about 60%, are contacts for existing customers or existing leads. So, we end up with many duplicates that I merge once the lead has been updated with some activity.

I don't believe I'm doing this the most effecient way, so I'd like a couple thoughts on importing the leads in a different manner (I've heard some have created a custom record for leads that simply gets attached to a Customer/Company record once the lead is qualified).

Howdy, Stranger!
