Sales Territories using Latitude/Longitude for physical location
This is a praise to Netsuite for it's flexibility in relation to Sales Territories. Like many companies, we sell to customers in multiple locations. We have 4 addresses to track for each customer location:
1) Billing
2) Shipping
3) Mailing - (marketing / direct mail)
4) Physical - where sales people visit AND how territories are assigned.
This was solved by the following:
1) Added fields for latitude and longitude at the customer level
2) Added check boxes for Default Mailing and Default Physical at the customer address level.
We export all of the addresses to csv. Then send that list to a 3rd party for USPS verification and latitude/longitude assignment.
