Booking, Assignment or Other?

<p>Many of our deals look like this; "Client buys 40 hrs of time that could be used in the next two months or the next year."  </p><p>Is there a good approach to forecasting resource utilization here? How do other people handle this?  A booking causes problems because we do not know when the 40 hrs are going to be used up.  We have the same issues with assignements.  Are we looking at this the correct way?</p><p>Thanks. </p>
