Invoices: "Group By" Functionality

<p>I notice that when an invoice layout has one or more fields defined as "group by" or "invoice groupings" fields, those fields push out the width of the invoice substantially (see the attached image).</p><p>I'm wondering if it wouldn't be preferable for any fields that are used as groupings to be able to span across columns (like "merge cells" in Excel) to tighten of the invoice. It seems like a lot of wasted space.</p><p>Other thoughts? Other solutions?</p><p>Thanks.</p>
