Data Visualization tools with OpenAir

Has anyone had success using data visualization tools with their OpenAir data? We are researching using Tableau to create more powerful visualizations and would like to talk to anyone who has had success exporting and mapping their data.  Our plan is to build a data warehouse that can then sync with the data visualization tool but would like to hear of anyone else who has gone through this.
