Average billing rate

It is possible to run a report to show a resourcea€™s average bill rate. You can create a calculated field which will appear in the options field of your Summary report. You will first need to decide exactly how you want to calculate a resourcea€™s average bill rate. A good option would be to divide a€œInvoices a€“ Feesa€ by either a€œTimesheet a€“ Billed hoursa€ or a€œTimesheets a€“ Approved hoursa€.

To create this field, you should navigate to: Account > Company > Calculated Fields > Custom Calculations > Create > a€œAccount-wide Project Custom Calculationa€ > Left operand = a€œInvoices a€“ Fees United
