Reporting on billed hours for fixed fee projects
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; color: black;">What many clients do in this situation is to use what we refer to as “ghost charges”. Under this solution, you would set up time billing rules for your fixed fee projects, with the charges to be funneled into a non-invoiceable charge stage. The charges allow you to report on what hours would have been billed, and what the billing amount would have been if the project had been billed hourly rather than as a fixed fee project.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; color: black;">For example, you would do the following:</span></p>
