retrieving SalesOrder.shipAddressList

hi,

is there a sample or description how to get shipping address for a sales order?

SalesOrder.shipAddressList is a RecordRef which should refer to actuall AddressBook object, but AddressBook doesn't seem to inherit from Record type.

This means I can't retrieve an AddressBook object with "get" operation and cast  the types...

am I correct?
