Setting Customer balance

edited May 28, 2020 7:36PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 2 comments

We would like to be able to take a Customer balance from the MYOB accounting package and set the balance attribute for the Customer in NetCRM. I am using the following code:
Customer.balance = 100.00
Customer.balanceSpecified = true

However when I try to update Customer I get the error:
"You do not have permissions to set a value for element balance due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available either when a record is created or updated, but not in both cases."

Can you confirm that balance is not readonly (the documentation does not indicate readonly). If it is an editable field, what permission to we need to edit it?

Howdy, Stranger!
