Unexepected Error on getCustomization

I am trying to use the new features of WSv2 that allow you to retrieve customization details. I am using axis 1.4 and have tested my code on our Wolfe  Elex. test account. When I tried to test the code against our live account it failed with an "UNEXCPECTED_ERROR".

the body of the SOAP message is:
<getCustomization xmlns="urn:messages_2_0.platform.webservices.netsuite.com">
<customizationType getCustomizationType="itemCustomField"/>
</getCustomization>


and the body of the response is:

<getCustomizationResponse xmlns="urn:messages_2_0.platform.webservices.netsuite.com">
<getCustomizationResult xmlns="urn:core_2_0.platform.webservices.netsuite.com">
