xml-soap: Search Items ?

hi,

How can I extract the "Items" from NetSuite db.
I'm currently tring something like this :

<searchRecord xsi:type="platformCommon:ItemSearchBasic" xmlns:platformCommon="urn:common_2_5.platform.webservices.netsuite.com">
  <amount operator="equal">
    <searchValue>12.0</searchValue>
  </amount>
</searchRecord>

But I'm getting :

<faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode>
<faultstring>org.xml.sax.SAXException: Unable to marshall between XML and Castor Objects :unable to find FieldDescriptor for 'amount' in ClassDescriptor of ItemSearchBasic</faultstring>

any idea what is the correct syntax.
