Trouble inserting a custom record

I have a script which until recently was working fine, but now is kicking up an error when it tries to insert a custom record. The error I'm receiving is as follows :

org.xml.sax.SAXException: Invalid type: StringCustomFieldRef


Here is the soap request that is being sent
