Create Task - Invalid contact reference key 1205.

We're having trouble creating Tasks for Contact records in NetSuite.

The request completes if we include both a Contact and Company ID in the SOAP request.

However, if I only include a Contact ID (without a Company ID), we get the following error:
INVALID_KEY_OR_REF: Invalid contact reference key
(Please note the referenced key is a valid Contact ID in NetSuite).

Is it possible to create a task for a Contact that is not bound to a Company? Am I missing a flag somewhere?
