Cookie problems

I notice in the 2_6 docs that 3 cookies should be returned on login and thus passed to each subsequent call.  But when I use a tool like SOAP UI, it only shows 2 cookies - JSESSION_ID and NS_VER. 

I'm using a mashup server from JackBe that allows cookies, and it also shows only 2 cookies, and gives me a "Your connection has timed out" response after an operation like search, which is done immediately after a successful login.

any ideas?
