ASYNC percentCompleted and estRemainingDuration not functioning

Regardless how many transactions I send in an ASYNC operation and request a status check percentCompleted is 0 and estRemainingDuration is 0 until it completes where percentCompleted changes to 100%.  I've tried 5 transactions to over 200 and receive the same results. I query the status every 60 seconds.
