Synching From Netsuite to Another Webservice?

I couldn't find this in the documentation at all (or not looking for the right keywords), but is there a way to have Netsuite call a webservice after a particular action is performed?

For example, a sales rep updates a lead, and I'd like that new information to be pushed back to my application (which also stored lead information)?

Currently I have it pushing lead data to Netsuite, but would like to maintain synchronous information.
