Adding Item Fulfillments in 2008.2

edited Jun 5, 2020 6:18PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 3 comments

Hi Terry,

I was hoping that you could give me some insight as to how to provide package detail from external systems for an Item Fulfillment in 2008.2.  Today (2008.1 or less) a customer configures their NetSuite to use one and only one integrated carrier.  Every item fulfillment then requires the package list of the integrated carrier to be populated to store package information.  i.e. If UPS is the integrated carrier of choice, I would populate the packageUpsList with the appropriate information for all carriers regardless of their configuration.

Jumping ahead to 2008.2; The item fulfillment changes depending on the shipping item selected.  i.e. If one sales order has FedEx ground as the Shipping Method and FedEx Ground is configured with integrated shipping set to FedEx Ground, then I need to set packageFedExList.  The next order may have a generic carrier that is not integrated for which I need to set packageList.

Howdy, Stranger!
