Create Revenue Recognition Journal Entries

Hi,
can we create journal entries from WS setting the createdFrom field? I'm trying to create such a journal entry but I receive the following error:

[Code=INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSION] You do not have permissions to set a value for element createdfrom due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available either when a record is created or updated, but not in both cases.

I configured the account to be able to create journal entries (I can create a journal entry from WS in the classic way, specifying each journal entry lines).
