Problem with Sales Order Address

When I add a SalesOrder the Customer's default billing and shipping address are showing up with HTML line-break tags embedded:

Cincinnati Bell Wireless<br>221 East Fourth Street<br>103-1115 Accounts Payable<br>Cincinnati OH 45202<br>United States

If I look at the Customer record itself, the line-breaks are not there.

I am not setting the SalesOrder.ShipAddressList or SalesOrder.BillAddressList

I'm just letting it use the default billing and shipping address.
