Connecting between Amazon EC2 and NetSuite -- How???

I put this in the .NET thread because our developers are primarily .NET (but do have Java and PHP experience so thought I would put here as well).

I can't seem to find enough information to even determine the simplicity or complexity of the following.

An application currently runs in the Amazon cloud. We want to write some event captures in the application that when they are caught to send data (e.g. create a record, write some data) to NetSuite. Essentially we want to input order and quote information in NetSuite that is initially captured in the Amazon cloud portal application.
