Close unfulfilled Sales Order Items using SuiteTalk SOAP API
I'm using the SuiteTalk API to create Sales Orders and would like to close the Sales Order when it's no longer going to be fulfilled.
Use Case:
A Sales Order is created with a single SalesOrderItem.
No invoice or cash sale is recorded.
No customer deposit.
Is it possible to close the Sales Order Item if there's no intention to fulfill it?
I'm trying this using the API to add the Sales Order and then update it with item.isClosed true. I haven't had any success, only when setting ignore readonly fields flag but I suspect item.isClosed is not actually a readonly field, I may be missing something that needs to first happen before I can close the item.
