Create Custom Records from NS SuiteScript

Is it possible to create custom record with Server SuiteScript ?

Strange but I get SuiteScript INVALID_RECORD_TYPE error,
I have tried to call the script with first capital in my custom type name (actually it's name is Licenses)

var licensesCreated ;
licensesCreated = nlapiCreateRecord('licenses');

or I have tried with first small letter

var licensesCreated ;
licensesCreated = nlapiCreateRecord('licenses');

all the same...
