Please note that on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM Pacific time, our Case Management System will undergo a scheduled maintenance for approximately 4 hours. During this time, case creation via SuiteAnswers will be unavailable and inbound calls will be routed to Customer Service.
Storing credentials to be used as Script Parameters
We are deploying a SuiteScript and declaring parameters to that script via the User Interface. Our script makes an external Web Service call when invoked.
In the drop-down for Parameter Type, there entries such as 'Free-form Text', 'Hyperlink', etc. What we need to pass as parameters to the script are credentials (user/password) to the external service, however, there does not seem to be a Parameter type 'Password' available such that the value can be hidden/encrypted from other users.
How can one accomplish this? Is there another place we can store the password?
