Emloyee Update - Error in outbound webservices

This is part of my code where login happens!

And, this is the following code which sets the employee record to be disabled!
            boolean giveAccess = true;
            String iid = "2230";
            Employee  exitEmpl = new Employee();
            exitEmpl.setInternalId(iid);
            exitEmpl.setIsInactive(giveAccess);
            WriteResponse response=port.update(exitEmpl);
       
I am using the netsuite production wsdl 2009 v1 proxy classes and using netsuite sandbox wsdl 2009 v1 in my code.
I could see the message the it got logged in without any problem but it's failing at the port.update operation!
